Frequently Asked Questions

  • What happens the night before the wedding?
    We would love to invite everyone to welcome drinks at The Carriage house which is on site at Adare Manor. These will start from 6pm. If everyone could wear cocktail attire please. Men in nice shirts and trousers and women in dresses/smart outfits with heels.
  • What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
    Yes! We are asking our guests to dress up with us! For our Wedding day, we would love it if the Gentlemen are in Black tie, black suits, white shirts and black bow tie's. Ladies in floor length or midi length dresses, jumpsuits or smart trousers.
  • Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?
    Both the ceremony and reception will be taking place indoors, so there is no need to plan for any bad weather!
  • What time should I arrive?
    If everyone could arrive at the venue for 2pm as the ceremony will start at 2.30pm. This makes sure it gives everyone plenty of time to get seated and settled before the ceremony begins!
  • Are children welcome?
    While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening.
  • Can I bring a plus one?
    Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list so we are unable to offer plus ones unless previously discussed.
  • Can I take photo's on the wedding day?
    Yes of course! The only things we ask you not to do is to take any pictures during the ceremony and to not post any pictures or video's of the bride and groom until we have shared them ourselves.
  • Will we be providing transport on the evening of the wedding?
    Yes! We will be providing a bus for guests to leave the wedding whenever they like between the hours of 11pm-3am.
  • Wedding gifting
    There is no need for any of you lovely people to provide us a gift, we are just delighted that you are here to celebrate our special day!
